Hello!

My name is Jenny Horn. I have been a lover of photography my whole life. Behind the camera for years, I truly believe in capturing the most special moments on film. Ask anyone who knows me, I almost never go a day without taking a picture. I think that you can capture love in a single frame and I try to do that each time I snap a shot. 

This is my very first blog so please bear with me! I haven't posted anything like this since... wait for it... Live Journal! Does that even exist anymore? Anyway, I set this wonderful site up to help me share some lovely pictures with you all and to help those who book with me to view and choose pictures they may want to order. Please let me know if you have any questions about an order, setting up a consultation for a shoot or anything else. I live in Ventura County in Southern California so my base is Ventura and its surrounding areas.

As I stated previously, I am a lover of photography! I have a wonderful little family consisting of my OIF/OEF Marine Corps. Veteran husband John, my beautiful two year old Lily Grace and our big fat orange tabby Toby. We live in beautiful Southern California where you can literally drive to the beach, mountains (snow), lakes or the dessert within an hour. I have experience in photographing everything from the second a baby is born to good old fashioned wedding photography. I think that babies and kids are the most fun to take pictures of. It's the challenge to capture that sparkle in their eyes, the mischief in their smiles and hope for a brighter tomorrow. I think that nature photography is beautiful. I try to see the beauty in all that is around me and I hope that you can see that in my work.
